One of our values at City Church is Passionate Worship - We will sacrifice as we worship Jesus with our daily habits, our marriages and families, our physical bodies and our financial gain. Everything points to the testimony of Jesus. He is the example of a  Change Agent in our lives and we believe every worship experience changes people. Take for example one Sunday in 1984. I will never forget being baptized as a child. I was nine years old and was ready to make my faith my own. I came to my parents and told them I was ready to publicly share I was following Jesus, and on November 9, 1984 I was baptized and transformed. As I came up out of the water, something felt different.

It was the Holy Spirit. He is another Change Agent that fills us just like he filled Jesus. The Holy Spirit dwells in us and because of Him we are NEVER THE SAME. This Easter season we are celebrating transformed lives through baptisms. If you have never been baptized, we would love to baptize you on Easter, just reply to this e-mail.

These past four weeks have been full of growth, record attendance, celebration, and reports from our global mission work. You are an amazing church doing incredible things in our community. Let’s continue to show love as we transform our neighborhoods across the street and around the world. Let’s make this Easter season memorable and transformational.
